Brownfields are properties in which
redevelopment or reuse may be complicated by the presence or
potential presence of hazardous substances. These properties
may be very expensive to clean up, therefore many sites sit
unused, even when they are located in prime locations in
communities. There is, however, funding available for
brownfield site investigation, remediation, and
redevelopment.
We prepare funding applications and provide grant
administration services in conjunction with environmental
engineers, land use planners, and economic development
specialists to help communities identify, assess, and clean
up abandoned and underutilized brownfields.
